After ten years and sixteen urban fantasy/paranormal fiction novels, I've turned to a different genre and spent the last year writing a mystery series set in Regency England during the early 1800s. I am excited to report I've entered a four-book contract with Coffeetown/Camel Press to publish that series.  I don't have a scheduled release date yet for book one , but I cannot wait to share these characters and stories with you!

This blog - which has been neglected too long waiting for this moment - will soon include weekly posts and/or author interviews relating to the mystery genre, both historical and contemporary.  Until I make those arrangements, I'll be posting the links to Author Interviews with mystery authors currently appearing on my Ally Shields blog.
